Per our rules, as long as episodes are numbered continuously, they should be added to the same season.

So what's the point in having artwork like this on your site, https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/rsOApVLbIQEcNkqSlOxNPyg3FyI.jpg , clearly it's wrong and needs to be removed if the second season with it's OWN arc name doesn't exist........RIGHT.

I INVITE SUPERBOY97 TO READ THE PREVIOUS CONTENT REPORT.

After watchin the OP of S02E01 it should be impossible to claim that this episode should be part of S01.

It very clearly says "Solo Leveling Arise from the Shadow S2" in the opening credits.

To add to this: The official Website lists this as Season 2 and so does Wikipedia.

What you're saying and your rules are completely inconsistent. For example, in the case of One Piece, it does indeed have seasons, yet the episodes are numbered consecutively... Please respect the official information about series; otherwise, it makes no sense. In that case, you might as well remove all the seasons from One Piece, Naruto...

One Piece does not have seasons in Japan as it airs continuously. The entry hasn't been fixed yet simply because it's very old and it's too much to fix it manually so we just have to wait until Travis, the admin, can automate the merge, where all seasons will then be merged into a single season of 1122+ episodes to match the original Japanese broadcast. Please see TMDB's anime guidelines for more information, specifically the section titled "Should I add new episodes to the existing season, to a new season, or as a new series?".

Sorry to tell you, but your rule is not aesthetic at all. Everyone on this site agrees that we should stick to this logic of seasons, even if "in Japan they don't think like that." Moreover, even in the opening credits and on the official poster, it clearly says "Season 2."

As for One Piece, I think you're making a big mistake. Imagine trying to find a specific episode among more than 1,100 episodes? Seasons make it much easier to navigate and find what we're looking for.

Sorry again, but a rule can be changed.

For example Detective Conan is impossible to navigate or find something easy… even if in this case it’s really one season.

Everywhere lists "S1E13" as "S2E1" except for TMDB, for some reason. The opening credits of the episode call it Season 2. The episodes didn't air continuously, there was a 9 month hiatus. Wikipedia lists it as 2 seasons, IMDB lists it as 2 seasons, TVDB lists it as 2 seasons, the Solo Leveling Wiki lists it as 2 seasons, Crunchyroll lists it as 2 seasons, the shows official website lists it as 2 seasons, and the show's actual intro and promotional material calls it Season 2. What source are you guys using to where you're the only database insisting that this is a single season of anime, despite all the evidence to the contrary? As someone else mentioned, why is this not even consistent? One Piece actually airs continuously and does not take breaks in between Seasons, yet your database have divided that into multiple distinct seasons - I understand that One Piece is very long and seasons make it much easier to find a specific episode, but why then does Solo Leveling, which took 9 months between Episodes 12 and 13, and labels itself as Season 2 in it's own credits, only get listed as one season? None of this makes any sense no matter what angle I try to look at it from, and your own rules, which you cite as the primary reason to not label the show how literally everyone else (including the show itself!) have labeled it, are entirely inconsistent across your own platform.

The official website, which shows the first episode of Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- as [episode 13],(https://sololeveling-anime.net/story/?id=13) and our own anime guidelines.

As has been stated before, both on here and on multiple One Piece content reports, One Piece will eventually be merged into a single season of 1122+ episodes by Travis, the admin. It's a very old entry that was never merged and now there's too much data to do it manually and Travis is the only one that can automate the merge. If there's any anime entry that has continuous episode numbers and isn't using a single season, it's either because it's an old entry waiting to be merged, or no user reported that the anime uses continuous episode numbers and no mods was aware of it.

I watch Solo Leveling so I merged the seasons once I saw the official website but mods are not omnipresent and we rely on users to report entries that use continuous episode numbers.

Episode 13 is literally listed under a giant SEASON 2 tab this feels absolutely insane lmao

Breaking Bad's wikipedia page lists Season 2 Episode 1 as the 8th overall episode, shouldn't that be one season as well?

Once again, please familiarize yourself with TMDB's anime guidelines.

Breaking Bad's wikipedia page lists Season 2 Episode 1 as the 8th overall episode, shouldn't that be one season as well?

No? Seven-Thirty-Seven was listed on AMC's website as episode 1 of season 2.

Why can't the TMDB anime guidlines be changed to reflect actual seasons?
