I'm surprised we haven't talked about this yet on a movie database, but I compare what's going on in Hollywood right now to a car wreck I don't want to watch but can't look away from.

I mean..... it's pretty much been an open "secret" that Hollywood is rife with pedophilia, transactional sex , both wanted and coerced , sex traded for roles and opportunities, and a lot of it fell on deaf ears for years. Or people outside that sphere it didn't directly affect chose not to care. It's been amazing how many women have come out with accusations against Weinstein , all the stories about him forcing himself on these women. I'm not saying I believe every account(I don't , I think a lot of these stories are missing critical details) but I do believe he used his power to try to get sex from young actresses with a promise of stardom, and in many cases he wouldn't take no for an answer . I also think the women who agreed to sleep with him to get famous are strategically quiet about it. Now he's in sex rehab getting his libido exorcised like that's going to help anybody.

The Kevin Spacey reveal today hit me the hardest not because I didn't think he was gay ( that's about as shocking as Ricky Martin) but because he tried to bury the story of him soliciting an underage boy by coming out. That's really pissing off the LGBTQ crowd, and rightfully so. He really thought we'd be like " O you poor thing, forget the kid that almost got assaulted, how are YOU doin?" He needs to ask the Scientologists for narrative changing lessons.

Anyway, If this is just the tip of the iceberg I don't think we want to see what sordid tales lie underneath the surface. The Oscars are gonna be real awkward this year, folks.

From what I've read, the charge he was convicted of was the only case that wasn't past the statute of limitations - and that one was just days away - plus the accuser admitted that she took some kind of drugs from him willingly. That makes it sound mostly political, and it's worth noting that none of this started until Cosby started telling black people that they needed to take more responsibility for their own lives and stuff.

Also, any talk that Cosby "got off" or "walked" etc, is BS, since he served almost 3 years of a 3-to-10 sentence. George Floyd served only 4 years for home-invasion robbery of a pregnant woman at gunpoint.

"Bill Cosby Officially Released From PA Prison After Overturned Conviction"

Both sides lost some. Both sides won some.

Released from a PA prison, which has been a bittersweet experience for The Cos. Being incarcerated wasn't fun, but he had the most(though certainly not the best or most consensual)sex there than he's had in years

I know it’s nothing to even joke about; but, still, too bad “Let the punishment fit the crime.” isn’t something that can be taken literally.

I seriously have no idea whether or not The Cos is guilty; from an evidentiary standpoint, these allegations were eons old, and there wasn't s-it in the way of physical proof to back any of this stuff up. That said, this really wasn't a gibe at Cosby, so much as it was a morbid riff on our culture's indifference towards the crime of rape, whenever the victim isn't a lily white college co-ed. For all of the hysteria around sexual assault we've been experiencing, no one gives a damn when those being raped are poor, non-white, elderly, or/and prison inmates

My mistake.

Well, that explains why Bill Clinton is not in prison for rape: Juanita Broderick was not a lily-white college co-ed.

NY's Governor #METOOed!

Kind of a shame really.

I'm very thumbsup when it comes to folks who get things done. Yes, I know some detractors call him a bully; but, I call him decisive. Was always a fan of his: “Put-out-the-fire-now-deal-with-whether-I-have-jurisdiction-over-the-water-later” attitude. Thought he was good for the state. Sorry to see someone with so much leadership panache kicked to the curb.

But, zero tolerance IS the only option regardless of a person’s rank and/or attributes.

Pay no attention to those dead people in nursing homes!
