We already support importing IMDb CSV's. Head over to the List Import page.
Letterboxd import is impossible since they don't include IDs in their exports (at least that was the case last time someone asked and gave me an export, that may have changed). Simkl might be possible, no one has ever asked/sent me an example CSV. Do you have one handy you can send me?
With regards to exporting, this was actually on deck for me this week. I am still hoping to start it later today.
@AndryX7 Exporting should be done this week but Letterboxd will have to write an importer for our export. Nothing will work automatically.
@BlackSpirits As I suspected, Letterboxd's exports still don't contain IDs so we cannot build an importer for their exports. You should petition them to add some kind of id (whether it's an IMDb id or TMDb id). That way other sites like us can build an importer.
Trakt and Simkl import will be completed by end of day but just a heads up, Simkl is kind of weird one too. In the file you gave me, the id coverage was very sparse. For movies it looks like I can rely on matching the IMDb ID but for TV, there was no IMDb ID's and only 1 of the 3 shows had a TVDb ID. So TV matching might not very good since (at least in the small sample of your file) there's no reliable ID coverage.
Edit: Nevermind, I was given the wrong file to use as a Simkl example. We won't be able to support Simkl either, as just like Letterboxd there's no external ID in the CSV to match on.
I just pushed some work around exports. You can now export your 3 main account lists (rated, watchlist and favourites). Here's a quick video showing you how to do it.
As I mentioned yesterday, support for the new importing options is also live.
After exporting and receiving the e-mail, the attached file that I receive is completely empty except for:
"TMDb ID,IMDb ID,Type,Name,Release Date,Season Number,Episode Number,Rating,Your Rating,Date Rated"
After exporting and receiving the e-mail, the attached file that I receive is completely empty except for:
"TMDb ID,IMDb ID,Type,Name,Release Date,Season Number,Episode Number,Rating,Your Rating,Date Rated"
Something wrong?
I'll have to take a look, all of my testing has yielded the proper files. Give me a few. I'd like to verify which list you were exporting, was it your ratings?
Click on the import the status and it will show you the reason(s) My best guess would be that we're missing the IMDb IDs (not that common for movies, a little more common for TV shows but especially common for TV episodes.)

Thanks @BlackSpirits. Simkl support is now live, you should be able to import that file.

@travisbell "We were able to import a total of 194 items out of the 1,066 (18%) items that we detected in your exported list."
why not import everything?
