As indicated in this previous content report, this episode is already listed as the first special episode (S00E01) with its original title.

Sorry, but I (nor my Zappiti) can see it on the site for Frozen Planet. There are no specials listed, only 7 episodes. Your link goes to a different tv show entirely, and the extra details link is dead, so I can't see anything else. There needs to be a special added to Frozen Planet (by David Attenborough) to incorporate this ep 8, surely. Or I'm missing something your extremely brief comment doesn't explain.

Do you have an official source for this supposed special episode ? Il doesn't appear at all on the official BBC episode page.
