Great soundtrack...

No matter what else one may think of the been-there-done-that stylisation of this series, the soundtrack is simply awesome. So many great scene/song combos to love. The fact that one would notice such a feature testifies to the rarity in current films and shows.

The music was good but it used a lot of tracks you hear frequently in movies and tv shows. I'd like it to have used more original choices. Queens' Don't Stop Me Now was used in Shaun of the Dead, Happy Together was in Adaptation, etc, etc. And you hear these songs played all the time these days.
I did like the show but felt it was trying to be odd and unique but felt a familiar kind of odd and "unique". And the music seemed kind of responsible for that.

I agree great soundtrack
