Trish and Roger are fighting all the time. Their children rebelling with the mother mostly on their side.
Of course she is always right and he has to eat humble pie every time
Riggs with his daddy's issues. Not to mention his search for a new love. It was Palmer, then Mollly, and Molly again.
Still, when you fast forward past all that drama, it's fun to watch, I think. 
Almost forgot, there's also the case of the week and all the mind-boggling action and explosions. There's just enough time left for that.

I agree. This show is fun and entertaining and that's all it needs to be.
Although after the finale hopefully Riggs wont have any more daddy issues. I really liked Riggs with Palmer.
I hope it comes back for a third season.
