So if you have not seen the season 2 finale yet, stop reading now and come back later.

OK, so we were told that if the Dark Lord got to the water supply for the four worlds his evil would take over the world and would rule forever, etc. etc. Well, he got there. And he cut his hand and let a few drops of his blood fall into the origin of the water supply. And then we saw how it magically spread through the water turning it all as red as pure blood. It spread into the reservoir turning it all red, then it got through the spillway and presumably turned all the rivers red. When we saw that happen, we the viewers said "oh no!".

But Will and Mareth arrived and began to fight the Dark Lord. Just when it looked like Will was defeated Mareth magically sent the Shannara sword flying through the air and into his hand, and he thrust it through the heart of the Dark Lord, turning him to ash, defeating him. BUT...the waters remained red. A few drops of Will's blood fell into the origination pool where the Dark Lord's blood had dripped. And it began to magically turn the water pure again...but only a small section of the pool was cleared.

That is what I don't get. A few drops of the Dark Lord's blood turned billions of gallons of water pure red. But a few drops of Will's blood only turned about 4 or 5 gallons of water pure again. Will's blood did not spread the way the Dark Lord's blood spread. But when Will fell into the pool, putatively giving up his life in the process (though we later learned he was actually still alive), then all the water turned pure.

So why didn't just a few drops of Will's blood spread the way the Dark Lord's blood spread? And if a few drops of his blood only cleared about 5 gallons, there is no way all of his blood could clear billions (many many billions, probably many many trillions in all the four worlds) of gallons of water.

No, Will's blood should have magically spread the same way the Dark Lord's blood spread.

I am not really worked up over this or anything. I just like to start trouble sometimes. lol
