They doubled up the episodes and burned off the last 6 in 3 weeks.

Hmmmm... Sometimes that means the network wasn't happy with the market share the show was getting. The network doubles up the shows to clear out the schedule for other shows they want to try in place of it. If that's the case then season 2 might be the last one. If so, that is too bad. I actually got into the show.
