I recently watched Season 1. I found the story interesting (if somewhat familiar) and the acting good.
I just started S2 and am finding it unwatchable. It seems like the writer told the story he wanted to, and now doesn't know what to say.
I finished Episode 1 (the 2 hour opener) and half of the next episode before shutting it off.
Should I continue? Does it get better?
I don't understand why Angela is working for E-Corp. I hate the fsociety just happens to be the name of the arcade, and not F*CK Society. Darlene now has an army that does nothing? Romero dies for no reason. It all seems so disjointed and slapped together. Wellick's wife getting slapped around (just seemed gratuitous) and then walking away from the phone just as he calls. All just poorly written in my opinion.
No vision.

I haven't watched all of the second season but I made it to the big twisty reveal, and then I ragequit. It's really not worth it. The first season stands on its own, thank fuck. Maybe they'll return to form in the third season ...

It's like I wrote regarding another show, some writers want to be avantgarde and artistic to the extent that they are leaving the viewers clueless. TV should be entertaining and not the writers private playground for their self indulgence.

I personally loved Season 2. Just as much as Season 1. However, I know some didn't. There is an episode coming up where they use tv sitcoms from the 80s and 90s to tell their story. It's one of my favorite episodes of the series, and in my opinion one of the best episodes of TV of all time. I definitely recommend watching at least till that episode.

I felt the same. There were a few cool episodes and ideas in the latter half of S2. Personally where season 2 left it, I think this next season will be huge and an insight into what we regular folk wouldn't normally see. I just hope they pick up where they left off and not do what season 2 did and be all over the shop and make no sense.
