Fred Sirieix is the maître d’ of the show. He is the "Maradona" of restaurants. Some love him, others can't stand his ever presence.

His musings - words of wisdom - may not be appreciated by everyone, but without monsieur Sirieix this would be just another "dime a dozen" dating show.

Fred's gentle, earnest, sometimes witty approach, accompanied by his soothing French accent adds that touch of je ne sais quoi, putting at ease even the most jittery dater.

And he has a cool beard too.
