The link doesn't say there won't be a third season! It just says that the creators work(ed) on a spin-off - that already aired in the meantime:

I think what we need is an official statement that the show was cancelled.

TVDb is also not an official source. That's not good enough, I'm afraid.

It looks like the decision is in the hands of the writers though https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a26172070/baptiste-bbc-one-the-missing-season-3/ and a third series is a long shot. It think it makes sense to mark it as ended for now (it's been almost three years + no concrete plan).

And there's no problem to change the status again when there will be a third season, so what?

Well, I see it differently from what I read about their plans - but we can always change it back. I just changed it to "Ended" and I'm going to close the topic.
