I have a serious question about the season numbers. I total get that Hulu was not the original network for what they list as seasons 6-10 so they can not be used the "original broadcaster". Season 6 is the films and 7-10 were on Comedy Central so what ever seasons grouping they used is what should be on the site. That being said Hulu is claiming their seasons as seasons 11 & 12. Why isn't TMDB Skipping seasons 8-10 and listing the Hulu seasons as 11 &12. Basically list seasons 1-7 then jump to 11-12. Since Hulu claims they are 11-12 shouldn't you go by that? I know this sounds crazy but that's how numbering for episodes in a seasons is working. If a streamer skips and episode number TMDB is also skipping that number. Here are examples where TMDB goes form Episode #1 to Episode #3.

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/157747-transformers-earthspark/season/1
Personally I just want the site to be consistent. If TMDB is skipping episode 2, because of how the broadcaster list them (even though they are released 2nd) then in this case I think seasons 7-10 should be skipped since the original broader caster is clamming the current shows are seasons 11 and 12.

The 2 cases have nothing in common.
The skipping of the episode 2 in Star Trek: Prodigy and Transformers: Earthspark is the decision of one single broadcaster that we follow.
The seasons numbering for Futurama is the consequence of the reorganisation of the seasons after a change of broadcaster. In such a case, as indicated in our rules, the seasons need to be numbered consecutively.
The situation would have been different if the complete series were originally broadcasted by Hulu and they have skipped this seasons during the original broadcast, but this is not the case.

I think it is disingenuous to say they are not similar. I do not see this example listed in the Contant Bible for seasons. But it does clearly say:
Our main goal is to reproduce the seasons exactly as they first aired on the original network.
Implying the episodes aired by Hulu should use Hulu’s numbering

The rule that apply in case of seasons reorganisation is here.
I quote : "When seasons are re-organized, for example after a network change, (e.g. American Dad, Futurama), we do not re-arranged the aired seasons/episodes. The new season is simply added as the next season."
After a reorganisation, you can end in 2 different situations :
The advantage of our rule is that it can be applied the same way in the 2 cases.
