Hahaha, you know after the latest episode with him and that metal pick while he's just standing there with the thing as he drills, cracks and crunches into those rotten sob's, I had to look him up on IMDb and was planning a post about it, but it appears I'm late on the issue. That was just awful to watch. Good catch Invidia about the stomach acid ruining the teeth from the bulimia, makes sense.
It's like the whole entirety of that guy is rotten and it's metaphoric with the teeth.
Yeah we know he's bulimic and it's eaten away his teeth. But looking at it is too much after awhile. It seemed gross just to be gross. The violence is even easier than looking at that mouth again. Could be Hawley's point, but enough with the mouth.
I agree I can sit through the most grossly disgusting horror, gore, extremely violent torture and not look away, but this fella made me flinch a little with that metal pic scene, then I was drawn back into to see exactly what he was trying to accomplish which was little more than a little blood, like wtf pull the damn thing !
If it weren't for a couple of tacky habits that guy could almost be looked at as the devil or a minion of, even possibly a demon. How exactly was he introduced into the plot? IIRC he just showed up and seemingly knew every single facet of the Stussy's business and even all their personal information, like he just knew too much and it doesn't jive, why put hooks into these guys? Isn't there a better family with a much more valuable business he could exploit? Or is he actually the devil and he's doing it for personal pleasure and because he is generally a real dick of a man. Or can it be just as it seems, him wanting them to take everyone's money and split, but that seems to simple idk. Maybe someone could expand on his nature......
Varga led us to believe that he's laundering money through this business for a much larger entity. But who knows what's true. I believe him, but I'm hoping things really start to come together in the few episodes left.
David Thewlis is doing such a great job as Varga. On the surface, you'd dismiss him as a nondescript nerd weakling. But peeling back the onion, you'd realize that you're dealing with evil incarnate.
