Item: Moses
Language: es-ES
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The movie Moses (1995) was originally released as a TV miniseries. But later, it was remastered as a unified movie, just like other films from the same saga such as Joseph (1995) and David (1997). This movie should be categorized as a film, not as a TV series, as stated in the TMDB guidelines: " * exception: a few miniseries screened in full at a film festival or as a film in theater are still allowed."

Do you have an official proof that the movie version had a festival or theatrical release ?

I don't have proof of the theatrical release, but considering that all the sister films of the collection are considered full-length movies despite originally being TV series, I don't see why this one would be categorized differently. All the Bible movies were remastered and merged into one movie and released on Blu-ray: https://www.amazon.es/Bible-Stories-Collection-Edizione-Blu-ray/dp/B01JSWAP50 https://www.imdb.com/list/ls063912495/ On IMDb, it is the only one listed as a series, which is an error that needs to be corrected.

Without such a proof, it doesn't qualify for the exception.
The ones without series entry were directly TV broadcasted as movies.
We only take in account the original release, unless there was a theatrical release.

🤦♂️ On many platforms, such as Plex, it will no longer be possible to create movie or TV series collections due to content discrepancies...

From the IMDB collection that you indicate, and apart from "Moses", there are a few others that were released as 2 parts miniseries :
For the above miniseries, the movie entries are only temporary, they will be removed as soon that the merge list has been processed by the administrator (date currently unknown)).
The reminder of them were released as individual movies :

While they were originally released as TV miniseries, they have since been unified, remastered, and distributed as standalone films on Blu-ray and multiple streaming platforms.
Titles: Moses (1995)
Abraham (1993)
Bible Stories Collection (Blu-ray Edition)
According to TMDB's official guidelines, if a series has been officially re-edited and distributed as a single film, it is eligible for reclassification as a movie. The remastered versions available today no longer follow the TV miniseries format but instead exist as unified films.

Only if they got a festival or theatrical release in that format, as indicated in the guidelines you have quoted above : " * exception: a few miniseries screened in full at a film festival or as a film in theater are still allowed."
So, we are back to my original question : Do you have an official proof that the movie version had a festival or theatrical release ?
