I'm enjoying it but I do feel like it is not nearly as good as it once was.Expected better with 5 years to pile up gag ideas.
Used to be 9.5/10
Now 6/10
Man, you're smoking way too many drugs if you think this season misses the mark. Compared to almost all comedies out today, Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm has been not only fucking funny, but so on fucking point that as a bald dude in his late 20s, it nails the absolute shit out of what I'm thinking. To the point I've said stuff in real life, then days later it's on the show. Like the shower scene in Ep 1 and using the word Frump in ep 2. I did that shit before those eps aired.
On top of that, there are so many comedy gold moments in this season, that are perhaps just a little too beyond your mental capacity of relaxed wonder to even fathom begin fathoming comprehension. Every single episode I've lost it laughing. Not many comedies do that these days.
Can't believe the season draws nearer to a close each week. Such a fucking dope comedy man!

Recently watched the episode 7, Namaste
Enjoyed it. Actually, I'm enjoying the entire 9th season so far! It might seem a bit weak when compared to the previous seasons, but when it comes to Curb Your Enthusiasm, even their weak is 10x better than other comedy shows out there! So yeah, let's just agree to disagree here.
Yeah, a bit weak of a start but I feel like it is back in standard form. Fully enjoying it.
When there was that recent hacker theft of scripts from HBO (GoT and Curb being among them) did they stay with the scripts as they were or did they do some hasty rewrites?
I've only watched 7 episodes but I think it's pretty good so far. The episode with the unfiltered water made me actually bust out laughing. I love all of the seasons.
I've enjoyed all of the episodes (and past seasons , too) but my favorite episode has been Running With the Bulls - that was just freakin' hilarious throughout . Really enjoyed Bryan Cranston as the therapist.
Sad that the season finale has come so soon.

I disagree too, pretty pretty good start, ep 3 with the chef in the kitchen, a classic.
