"The Mess of Adrian Listenger'. The ep has Max and the Chief looking at an old photo of themselves at the Control Academy years before with the latter coaching the baseball team. In an earlier ep Max moved up to the job of chief and he asked the Chief what the latter's old number was and he said "Q" (the Chief was there before they switched to numbers to refer to agents by). Does Max and the Chief knowing one another from (presumably just) Max's academy days as a cadet contradict the idea that Chief was originally called a letter and Max did not know it?

Back to the photo.Guest Pat Paulsen plays Adrian Listenger and the character is supposed to be in the snapshot as well. But weird Paulsen is clearly not in the picture too! (Listenger was supposed to undergo surgery to seem a little different now. But still.)
