讨论 Once Upon a Time

I loved this episode very much even though im not a rumbelle shipper at all.

But what i cant get over is the time line the timeline does not make sense at all in this episode

How did belle age so fast and by the time shes dead rumple goes to echanted v 2 meets alice and henry flew by with the moterbike wich is before he even meets cinderella

Bc thiers no way henry was in the ecchanted F v 2 for 18 -20 years before he meets cinderella

  • that would make henry 35 years old + we know he and lucy was in the enchanted foreast until she was at least 9 or 10 meaning when the curse hits henry must be 44 and heney does not look 44 now

Does someone also see this MASSIVE plot hole or could you come up with an answer as to how belle aged so quicly and how gideon grew up so fast

They said that the rules of time did not apply in that place where Belle and Rumple lived. They said something like a year there could be a moment somewhere else and vice versa. That's why the sun never set there. It's lame but that is how they explained it.

This whole season is dull as dishwater so far. I can barely make myself pay attention. I hate that there are now multiple Alices and Cinderellas. They really should have just ended on a high note last year.

As Rumple stated, Belle continued to age despite being in a place where spending an eternity would be like a blink of an eye back in Storybrooke. This wasnt the ending I was expecting because Captain Hook and Charmings haven't aged a bit.

I thought the last two episodes were better then the first two of this season and better then the last few seasons of this show, but it is still just disappointing. The timeline really is just a complete mess and i don't think that they are going to explain the age problem. They haven't explained how Henry aged and Regina did not, so it pretty much is what it is at this point.

Now, they are doing interesting storylines, but with the wrong characters. It should have been Emma finding her way back to Neal and getting to know one another again. It should have been Snow and Charming taking back the kingdom. It should have been Neal that will help Rumpel become not the dark one. It should have been the Charming's going on adventures together in the Enchanted Forest. They finally had it be Halloween for an episode and it wasn't interesting or funny because it is with these characters that we don't know. I can't believe they didn't show a family dressed up like Snow, Charming, Emma, Regina, and Henry. Talk about a missed opportunity.

I liked it. I think Alice is great and I hope she gets off her meds again.

Ditto; almost had a tear in my eye.

I think @Taylorfirst1 explains this well. However I have to disagree with:

I've been enjoying this season much more than the last few seasons of "original" OUAT (though I agree it would've been a great way to end the show). I like the "multiples" - it makes it feel like S1 where you're trying to work out who the characters are and also saves on contracting the same actors, who are all older now.

Well, OUAT has never been a show to watch for consistency or logic! Halloween would have been an interesting sight gag, but the OUAT version of Snow isn't a pop culture icon in a world where OUAT doesn't exist - so it wouldn't make sense. As for the return of the Charmings, I can remember the wait for the two of them to reconnect, the happiness when he awoke ... and the disappointment when he turned out to be more interesting in the coma.
