Arguably, Sheldon and Amy's "Scavenger Hunt" was the same as their "Counter-Factuals." Whatever BS they made up out of nothing, they decided was just obviously true. (And everyone else was an idiot if they didn't "Get It.")

Would love to see Five Nights at Freddy's played one last time! The suspense never gets old for more information.

Could say the same thing about Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock, just a variation on Rock, Paper, Scissors. But good call, although I don't remember using a name for the game in whatever variation just a connect the word game.

I’m kind of about “…Lizard, Spock”. At least it has some add-ons, as well as and some additional rules players have to learn/remember. So, I wouldn’t argue with anyone who called it a made-up game similar to/based on….

Not so for “Elements Letters” since it has nothing new—it’s entirely the same old game played the same old way.

"...lizard spock..." was really just a way of making the point that if you have people as familiar with each other as these guys, adding a couple more options doesn't really change things. And part of the joke was, they didn't realize it.

Apparently neither did many of the viewers.
