I enjoyed tonight's episode. It's always better when most of the group has a shot at interacting with each other, instead of having what we've seen a lot of this season - that is - Sheldon/Amy and Leonard/Penny for half the show, and then a completely seperate story with Howard/Bernie/Raj and sometimes Stuart.

Agreed. I think these writers need to take a page of New Girl's book. Every episode of New Girl seems to shift focus onto a different member of the main cast, then occasionally giving them all equal focus in a episode. It keeps the show interesting.

I'm beginning to wonder if the fact they didn't determine the shows status for next season and beyond until very late (and it still needs an 'official' announcement) has been impacting the stories and writing. I mean, if you are a writer, and you have no idea if a show is ending or not, you basically have to write nice safe stories that could easily be wrapped in the event the series is not renewed. This is yet another reason I wish they could have negotiated in a better manner.
In any event, I hope we get more episodes like last night. It was really cool at the end too - having the entire cast together.

Would have enjoyed the episode, but…
The guys voluntarily choosing not to go to Comic Con just struck a false note . It was much-much-too-much for me to handle.
Yes, I know they’ve changed and matured…BUT NOT THAT MUCH!
What's next...Mrs. C. giving up God!!!?

It didn't bother me that much. Comic-Con is a FIVE DAY EVENT. It's absurd to think that every year, men with relationships and families can just drop everything and go to Comic-Con. Plus, I think it was more of a show of support for Raj and his financial independence. Which was cool.

Who said anything about “every year”? Someday I expect them to be “old enough” to lust for Comic Con only in their hearts…but, couldn't (can’t) accept them being at that point just yet.
As for opting out to show moral support for Raj; didn’t recognize those guys either. However, I did recognize the guys who were eagerly willing to drop wives and kid and jet off to indulge themselves at Comic Con.
As for Raj; I know we are supposed to accept that choosing not to go to Comic Con on a handout as a sign of his new financial maturity…AND, I can do that NOW. Although, truth be told (until end of episode) I really expected to overhear him on the phone (when no one else was around) hitting-up Mommy for the money.
Finally...
Of course I don’t have the stats to back me up; but if I were a betting person, I’d be willing to wager that NOT every returnee to Comic Con year-after-year is single/relationshipless.
