There has never been another show that had me hooked as much as Dexter did. It may not have ended as well or been as consistently brilliant as Breaking Bad, but it didn't matter. Something about Dexter always brought me back and I would love for it to return one day.

I agree. as for the worst finish...I say true blood has it beat big time.

I love Dexter. It's my favorite all time TV series. Everything from the acting to the lighting is just great. I know some viewers have issues with the last couple seasons and the final season in particular. However, I still think Dexter was a very strong series even on its worse day.

Dexter. I couldn't agree with you more. I just watched the 8 day Showtime marathon , since the series ended this is the third marathon ( plus one binge) of the series I have watched and each time I just love it more and get more out of it. In it's original airing I must admit I wasn't too thrilled with the way all things ended ( though I was always glad Dexter survived) but the more I watch- I am becoming totally satisfied.

The scene where Batista is questioning Dexter about the pen stabbing death of Oliver Saxon- the expression on Batista's face when he views that video had me ...and Quinn was all like 'So what..,who cares?'

Agreed. true blood is something I never would or even want to watch ever again in my life.

True blood had a good first season but everything afterwards was awful. I didn't make it past season 4 and heard it got even worse in it's later years.
