Please keep in mind this only my opinion. I think that Khaleesi/Mother of Dragons is going to light 'em up. Her remaining dragon will rain fire down on King's Landing making everyone instant BBQ. The "Hound" will wind up doing battle with his brother "The Mountain". Meanwhile Queen Cerci is going out in a blaze of glory. But not before throwing a massive sex orgy the likes of which will make Caliguia look tame. King's Landing will look like London after the blitzkrieg. Then the screen will slowly fade to black as "Raines of Castemere " (The special extended mix) plays over the credits. Oh and all the while Bran/The Three Eyed Raven will simply gaze out from his wheelchair with that creepy smile.

The problem with Tyrion gaining the throne is that (at least in the books) the public fears and hates him due to his dwarfism. Members of his family are not the only ones who regard him as a monster, so he would soon be deposed.

It's because he is a dwarf, and they equate that with evil. He's known as the Imp, and generally despised.

Yes, it's silly superstition, but it is a medieval society so that is what they believed. For that reason Tywin couldn't arrange a marriage for Tyrion (at least not from a noble house) which is why he married Sansa off to him (Sansa had no choice).

Danny went medieval because Cersei/Euron killed her child/dragon and executed her friend and personnel aid Missandei. Yep she got carried away slaughtering Kings Landing, but its well known in war that most casualties are from collateral damage and innocent by standers. Once you go down the route of war you loose all control....
What's that saying "CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR..... .
I half expected Cersei to have pulled a "mad king"....BURN THEM -BURN THEM ALL!!!

I actually forgot about this bit. I'm wondering if Tyrion will just do a runner or if he will be executed in a similar way to Varys except this time Jon Snow will save him??
Great episode, sad to see Cersei and Jamie not go out in a bigger and better way though.

She's a Targaryen psychopath who is reverting back to type as a result of the shock from the personal tragedy that she has just suffered after a life time of fighting for the people. She's suffered Tyron's /Varyses numerous efforts to moderate her power/anger over the people , but she's learnt that when SHE TAKES CONTROL and TRUSTS HER INSTINCTS she gets the dirty work done.
BURN THEM - BURN THEM ALL, should be the family motto.

But that family motto causes rebellion in the end, and loss of power. Now Dany will sit in the ruins of the Red Keep and rule over a pile of ashes, and there was no need to take it so far. The Lannister soldiers had already dropped their arms; they'd surrendered. But Dany and Grey Worm wanted revenge.

The Mad king was Dani's father; the king that Jaime killed. During Robert's rebellion, king Aerys was going to burn down Kings Landing with wildfire to avoid being overthrown, but Jaime killed him. Dani has essentially turned into her father. I think this outcome has been hinted at all throughout the series.

You're quite welcome! Yes, when the series started, the mad king had been long dead. Dani was just an infant when he was killed. There was a scene (in season 6 I believe) when Bran was being taught by the previous three eyed Raven how to use the weirwood trees. The scene was a series of short visuals where we could see the mad king ranting 'burn them all'. Other than that short little clip, he wasn't actually in the show, just mentioned from time to time.
