When Sansa had her little talk with Jon, I was a little annoyed.

I know there are people who would say that Jon should have given the castle's to their allies instead the two kids, but we should remember

a) They are willing to use children as soldiers, and if Lyanna is any indication, they can certainly leave the castles with the two

b) If this show has taught anything, it is that you do not screw over an entire family without it coming back to bite you. The Targareyans and the Starks are proof. They are dealing with an army of ice zombies and Jon Flipping Snow is in charge. Not only would it be out of character for him to punish a bunch of innocent people over what some rogue family member did, it would have likely led to more rebellion on their part, likely out of blind anger. With the King of all wars going on, that would be the last thing Jon and the army needed.

c) Sansa doesn't want Jon to be smart, she wants him to be CERSI'S definition of smart. I know she wouldn't know this, but I hope she finds out in an episode what being "smart" did for Cersi so far.

But this is just my opinion. If you agree/disagree, please reply.

Both had points but I'm more pro Jon. Sansa went through a lot because of Ned & Robb and grew up around Cersei so it's understandable that's her priority. But also not sure what's really in Sansa's head cos of Littlefinger watching her.

Anyway...they really should discuss disagreements in private, making people awkward lol

Sansa is principled and makes decision based on strategy without taking in all the factors. Jon puts faith in people and doesn't judge them beforehand. He is also a good person which should be seen as a strength but is often mistaken for as a weakness. He did the right thing as the house, in times of war, should be looked upon as a beacon of hope and honor, not something to be feared. I believe Jon understands politics better than Sansa because he knows people better.

My thoughts as well. Jon and sansa did have points and they have points of view the other should listen to. Jon was right. Punishing kids for the actions of their fathers is a bad idea.

I think they're both right. I agree more with Jon because of all the consequences that can come with Sansa idea. Jon is a serious person, he doesn't play around. He will cut off someone's head of it needs to be done, even a kid like he did with Olly if that's what it comes down too. And allys karstark & Ned umber were just kids. Umber was probably around Rickons age in season 1 & ally's maybe a few years older than Lyanna? If he took their castles & lands away he would just be doing what the boltons & greyjoys did to Bran and Rickon. Running them out of their homes.
