Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (2000) is a Japanese series.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters (2006) is an American miniseries that was never broadcasted in Japan.
Even if the events of the second series took place during the first one (between episodes 198 and 199) and even if the English dub version consider that they are a single series, they are originally 2 different series.
