I just stumbled upon a collection of French movies, namely La Boum and La Boum 2. They were grouped in a collection called "La Boum - Saga." So I went ahead and changed the name to "La Boum Collection."
Shortly after I came across this: "L'ultimo bacio - Collezione" -- an Italian film collection. So I'm not sure anymore if my edit was correct at all.
I can't seem to find anything on naming conventions. Is it really supposed to be Saga and Collezione, based on the movie's original title? Since films are still listed with their English title by default, shouldn't these collections be named "The Party Collection" and "The Last Kiss Collection" in the first place?
Just two examples that are actually even more confusing:
Are there any rules? Thanks for clearing that up.

No, it wasn't. I have undone your change.
Like for the movies, the collections have a per language title.

Yeah?

There are countless collection titles that don't follow "collections have a per language title" rule.

Yes, there is a translated title field for each language. If it is empty for the language you want, you just have to add the title in that field for the correct language.

Under original title it says, "A Man and a Woman Collection," though.
Also, is it supposed to be separated by a hyphen when it's a non-English collection, as in "- Saga" and "- Collezione"?

Following your logic, am I supposed to add "The Party Collection" in the Translated Title (English) field below "La Boum - Saga"?

The original title of the collection depend of the language of the people which originally created the collection.
There should be no hyphen in English.
Yes.

I just added The Party Collection, and it's actually showing in English now. Same for The Last Kiss Collection. So that makes sense to me.
Thanks for clearing that up.
As for the other example, I believe "A Man and a Woman Collection" should be the English title while the original title needs to be added.

As indicated above, the original title of the collection depend of the language of the people which originally created the collection. Consequently, this is correct as it is.

So you're saying this is on a first come first served basis? That would mean no consistency whatsoever.
In the case of The Crimson Rivers Collection, "Saga" is missing entirely, while the English title is complete. According to your logic, nobody is going to fix that because that is how the people which originally created the collection typed it in?
I'm sorry, but you have got to be kidding.

No, I'm not kidding.
The important field used is the translated title. It only default to the original title if translated title field is empty.

Ironically, if the original title doesn't matter, my edit wasn't so wrong after all.
I'm not getting involved any further, but it kinda feels like a missed opportunity. Why not keep both fields clean just to be future-proof.
