Simple case : I try to filter top movies released last quarter, sorted by ranking.
However I can't figure-out to make a search that works. I triy all different sorts of fiddling in the filters and can't make it work. What am I doing wrong ?

You need first to uncheck "Search all releases". With it checked, you look at all the release dates listed for a movie and you will take in account the one that have been rereleased during the period or that have a foreign release.

(https://share.cleanshot.com/QjhXnSCT) But even then, selecting or unselecting each or part of the filter (Theatrical, digital, etc), there is ALWAYS movies where the DATE under the title differs from the selection. So I guess a sub-question is : What exactly does the DATE underneath the title refers to ? Can how can we just filter by it reliably ?
