Youtube videos often have subtitles available in multiple languages. Currently it's not possible to add the same video source key across multiple translations, which means an alternative video that is likely not from an official source gets added instead, or none at all.
This impacts users browsing the site in a different preferred language, who will not see/know that a trailer is available to watch unless they switch the language. API usability is also be impacted.
Is there any way to work around this, or plans to support allowing the same video across multiple translations in future?

Yes, I'd second this issue would be great to resolve. For example, Latvian films may often release a trailer with English subtitles, rather than several different versions. Such trailers fit both categories - the language of the trailer is Latvian, but international audience can read the subtitles. It doesn't make sense to restrict videos to only one language version. I hope the perspective of international users gets considered.

Has there been any progress on this? This would be a huge improvement. Some movies only have one official trailer release with subtitles in one or more languages. By the current guidelines, a trailer with 2 different hardcoded subtitles don't fit under any criteria (original spoken language and 2 foreign subtitles).
