i have java desktop application and i want to get the movies and the actors from the api can any body tell me the java code to do this

I'm not a Java developer so I can't really help you very much but have you taken a look at either of the 2 Java libraries?

Perhaps that list should be migrated to apiary, now that the API links on the front page no longer reference the old local sub-domain?
