Once more, HC doesn't smile or even bother to show teeth. This is becoming a subconscious statement of protest, or he's half-a@@ing it to just go through the motions.

Lucy smiles and it is genuine. She is having fun and enjoying the moment, and the guy on the left is happy as well.

Now, compare HC to the happy guy on the left and Lucy, when you have ALL smiling people and ONE that is not cracking a smile, then that gives a negative vibe.

Mirroring

Notice the guy on the Left and Lucy, they are both mirroring the same slanted move, and HC doesn't.

They all show teeth, but HC doesn't.

They both tilt their head to the side, but HC doesn't.

They guy on the left keeps his head at the same height as Lucy, but HC doesn't.

Overall, HC looks disengaged. If I had to pick the people who are more engaged from the pic, all indicators say it is the guy on the left and Lucy.

Is this love or a dud?

• Notice the hot in love couple on this trip have a gap. The husband sits at the head of the table, and his wife is on his left. To lessen their gap, they lean over and use their arms to touch their shoulders, since people in love like to be closer to each other.

No mirroring from HC and Lucy except the hand hiding!

Notice no one at the table is hiding both of their hands except HC and Lucy. HC goes a step further and hides one of his hands behind his back. Now, that could be a sign of HC trying to relax, and that may be true in some way. However, he and Lucy are both hiding their hands.

Although it can be hard for everyone to show their hands at a group (party) dinner pic, everyone tries to show their hands. This is not a formal state dinner or company dinner where everyone has to be stiff and stuffy. Even the woman who is the only one raising her hand subconsciously knows to show a hand. Most Happy groups of people will try to show that they do have hands, even if they have to put their elbows on the table.

Case in point:

This may be a deliberate gesture of defiance. Deceivers tend to hide their hands in fear that they will give themselves away.

Overall, HC looks as if he is going through the motions. If I had to pick the people who are more engaged from the pic, all indicators say it is the hot in love couple.

Well, I can only judge the faces, and they are basically the same. HC and Lucy's face same as usual. (See above) I pretty much can assume their feet are pointing in opposite directions. That is not a good sign.

Now, I'm sure she probably worked out if they are women around to do some exercises, but that's beside the point. Lucy is pretty much a prop and this is a photo op to show they do activities together.

Notice HC didn't post any stuff like this.

Toni, this is not a synchronized pic. It's a better one, but it's not a genuine couple pic.

First, although Lucy is leaning into HC, she is closed off to the point that she is sealing off her legs, with her clasped hands.

Now, take a look at her smile. It's uneven, only one side of the face sports a smile and the other side does not. The uneven smile depicts that oposite or conflicting emotions are present.

HC -- again -- shows no teeth, which is deceptive. In fact, if you look at his lips, they are downward, much like a frown. Plus, he is tightly closing his mouth and there is a bit of jaw tension. Lip and jaw tension reflects anxious feelings, nervousness, and emotional stress.

I'm not sure I agree completely. I would guess the pic was taken by someone who is unfamiliar/unknown to Cavil and Lucy. Their smiles are not genuine, which means they could have been posing during an uncomfortable moment for a fan or something, and not necessarily feeling any tension in their own relationship, per se.

Dark, what I post is body language science. I don't create scenarios. I just interpret the body signals and if they come with reasons I will offer them. For example, hidden hands tend to suggest deception or hiding. I will joke every now and then, but I don't offer up excuses for the body language.

I think they were telling jokes or something, they look like they were just laughing right before.
