When you watch his movies from the last couple of years it seems that he has switched over from a fixed rate to a minute based billing in his movie contracts. He tends to pop up in rather random movies in equally random scenes and locations for brief moments only to usually appear randomly in another scene later on in the same movie for another brief moment. I've also noticed that the barely tends to move in his movie scenes these days and it's usually him just sitting around or standing around. Not sure if there is a meters walked clause in the contract that raises the cost per feet movement. I suppose the directors just want to cut costs.

Cusack is less of an A lister these days. So he makes a cameo in these low budget straight to pay TV movies.
