Grand-Mère LeMarchand was a huge fan of him in Doctor Kildare.

I loved Mr. Chamberlain in the TV miniseries The Bourne Identity (1988). To me, he will always have been the ideal actor for that role.

RIP, 'Father Ralph'. I especially remember Chamberlain for that role (in The Thorn Birds), but also for The Man in the Iron Mask, and for Shogun...though there are also so many other of his excellent roles and performances I've seen and enjoyed. A quality actor, for sure.
