He always plays Mr nice guy. I just can't see it and I don't really want to.
Although for an actor I could see jumping from mr nice to an evil force would be more challenging and a meatier role.

I'm so used to seeing him in comedic roles, so I'm pretty curious to see how he'll do as a cold-hearted psychopath.
What's funny is that another former Disney actor, Ross Lynch, was cast as Jeffrey Dahmer in an upcoming movie.
