The official page is the page where you can view the movies/series, not previous promotional page. Consequently, the official page is here for the first one (and tere are four others).
Your link even shows it is rated as TV-PG That is for shows

US TV content ratings (TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA) are used for both movies and TV shows; they are not exclusive to TV shows. Additionally, Disney has never referred to "I Am Groot" as an "original series" or "original limited series" like the rest of their shows but rather a "collection of original shorts."

I don't think that is correct. Disney lists this TV series under its "Original TV Series" banner (and does NOT list them under original movies), the promotional material calls it a show (along with the URL), and each short is listed under "Episodes"... so I really can't agree with you here. Disney seems to clearly intend these to be viewed as episodes in a TV show... in fact the TV Series is actually called and promoted everywhere as "I am Groot" whilst the episodes have different names.
I am sorry, but I really do think that the mods have got this completely wrong, and the decision flies in the face of the available evidence.

Disney does not call the shorts an "original series" they use "original shorts," as evidenced by this poster for "Baymax!" using the term "original series" and this poster for "I Am Groot" using "original shorts" instead. But "original shorts" by itself does not indicate how the content is released, and therefore added to TMDB, that's determined by the Disney+ website (disneyplus.com). There is no TV series called "I Am Groot" on disneyplus.com; all five shorts page their own page. This is no different than the "Forky Asks a Question" shorts, which all have separate entries on both Disney+ and TMDB.
