We're forgetting our BBT animal friends here. Zazzles, Lovey-Dovey, the mean dog who stole Sheldon's hot dog, Jiminy/Toby the common field cricket .... We could do a whole Guardians of the Galaxy thing here, The Justice League of Pasadena etc

Unfortunately from what I've heard it sounds like it will be an almost new cast of younger nerds and if that's what it is, they're going to have to get up awfully early in the morning to impress me.
Or maybe it will be a new show for Animal Planet where Sheldon and others who fear birds tell their near death stories.

That's a shame. I don't see how this will fly because there have been no actual genuine nerds for the past 15 years or so. Besides where's Chuck Lorre going to put in all his lame dirty jokes if it's just a bunch of kids. Those days are long gone.

I say we vote for the bird show on Animal Planet. Isn't there anyone out there who'd like to hear Sheldon's feedback on the Ash-throated flycatcher?

I was watching some of those kids shows featuring a group of friends that are all talking animals (Franklin, Arthur, Nature Cat) and I was thinking why not have a group of animals with the voices of the characters? Cinamon would be voiced b Raj, Toby the Cricket would be Howard. Amy would HAVE to voice one of her addicted monkeys. Sheldon I see as the blue jay.
I'm just not sure about Leonard, Penney and Bernie.

Bernie would be the rabbit that fell into the hot tub

The writers would have to make sure that no predator and prey animals were in the same scene. We wouldn't want Sheldon's blue jay to eat Howard's cricket.
If they have to be animals who actually appeared on the show then maybe Leonard could be Sheldon and Amy's temporary pet turtle, Penny could be a luminous fish and Bernie could be.. was there a velociraptor on the show?

Wow
Going from cute bunny to velociraptor?
I think you have some issues to work through Lemons.

I think a bunny who fell in the hot tub would be a drowned bunny so by my interpretation the Velociraptor wins. We could make her a T-Rex if you would prefer.

What are you saying about Leonard here? I know he was a pushover sometimes but now he's a pet? That too weird even for Sheldon and Amy. Or is it?!?!🐢😉
There wasn't a velociraptor on the show but wasn't there a toy dinosaur or mastodon that Howard bought for Raj when they went to the La Brea tar pits?

Come now. Are you saying Leonard has no turtle-like qualities? He doesn't have to be a pet on this new show.
Edit to your edit: I don't remember that but we'll say that you're right so that my velociraptor answer makes sense.

Off the topic of velociraptors
Penney could be the ape from Serial Apeist.
OK, back to velociraptors.

I suspect the actress would rather voice a luminous fish. How many people get to do that?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Nerd Turtles!
I'm not even going to touch that "Sheldon's blue jay eating Howard's cricket" line. That's a Howard dirty joke waiting for me to groan at.

On some of these animated children's shows, the animals have a human friend. I wonder who the human friend should be? Probably someone small and gentle, like Captain Sweatpants.
